Mission Statement

The Organization for Refugee and Immigrant Success is committed to aiding in the resettlement of refugee and immigrant groups in the state by providing assistance, training, resources and opportunities that promote self-sufficiency. Primary objectives of ORIS include increasing access to and receipt of services by refugees and immigrants in Manchester; aiding refugee and immigrant groups to function more effectively in the U.S. by increasing awareness and knowledge of laws, customs, existing resources and how to access them, necessary survival skills and access to employment opportunities; and promoting the understanding and acceptance of refugees by NH residents, institutions and service providers through community outreach and education of refugee backgrounds, cultural practices and language.
