Services

We assist with interpretation, cultural education, and related services. We provide a limited amount of health services, including referrals to providers, transportation to and translation at health appointments, and health education campaigns such as HIV, diabetes, and other risk awareness programs. We have also been involved in conflict resolution related to cultural differences between traditional African cultures and the US culture, and offer education and referrals to legal services, including helping the community to understand laws and their rights and interpretations services in court and at the police station. We also offer employment services, such as assistance with resume writing and job applications, referrals to service providers and other non-profit agencies with employment services, and economic skills building that help our clients to access information and resources that promote self sufficiency.
